Who am I?

Native to France, I have acquired a sound knowledge of the English language through residence and study in Yorkshire, England. I obtained the following diplomas: “English for Commerce for Overseas Students” from the London Chamber of Commerce, the First Certificate and the Certificate of Proficiency from the University of Cambridge.

I passed the Diploma of Higher Education in English at the University of Orléans and studied translation from and into English further with the British Institute in Paris. During part of my earlier career as a personal assistant to a commercial director, I translated many commercial documents. I then devoted myself to personal research in ceramics, both French and English, and especially puzzle vessels (wares produced by potters with a keen sense of humour). After translating various documents from English into French, I organized a fact-finding mission about puzzle jugs in 11 English museums and did the liaison interpreting during the meetings with a French potter.
